Earlier in the year Amanda Milling MP invited local junior and primary school children to design the front of her official 2023 Christmas Card.
After sifting through hundreds of submissions from numerous local schools a winner has been chosen.
Amanda Milling MP is pleased to announce that Nelson Ajiboye, aged 10 of Churchfield C.E. Primary Academy is the winner of her official Christmas Card competition. Nelson’s design features on the front of the card.
The two runners up are Charlotte Gray, aged 10 from Five Ways Primary School, and Penny Hanson, aged 6 of Pye Green Academy. Their designs feature on the back of the card.
Amanda Milling MP said: “Congratulations to Nelson and well done to the two runners up, Penny and Charlotte. It is always hard selecting the winners and runners up in the competition. The designs submitted by local pupils always surprise me with their imagination and care. We really have some budding artists in Cannock Chase.”
The Cannock Chase MP added: “I would like to thank all the local school children who took part in the competition and wish them all a very Merry Christmas.”
The card designed by Nelson will be sent out to hundreds of local groups and residents, as well as the Prime Minister, The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP.
