Cannock Chase MP, Amanda Milling has announced her 2023 “Best of Cannock Chase” competition.
This annual competition, now in its tenth year, sees the public vote for their favourite independent high street businesses.
Over the next few weeks the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite local independent businesses across 11 categories, including local shops, markets stalls, cafes and restaurants across Cannock Chase.
The competition will also see one local business crowned the overall winner, with the business getting the most votes in the competition securing the coveted “Best of Cannock Chase” award.
Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 26th November, and the winners will be announced to mark Small Business Saturday on 2nd December 2023.
Amanda Milling MP said: “Without our amazing local independent businesses our local high streets just wouldn’t be the same. I’ve been running this annual competition as I am keen that our local independent businesses get the support and recognition they deserve.“
“So I would urge the public to get voting for their favourite local independent businesses and I would like to wish local businesses the best of luck. I look forward to announcing the winners on Small Business Saturday.”

Best Market Stall in Cannock and Rugeley.
Best independent high street business in Bridgtown, Heath Hayes and Norton Canes.
The business with the most overall votes will be crowned the Overall Winner.
