Earlier this year Cannock Chase MP, Amanda Milling, invited local school children to design the cover of her official 2019 Christmas card, with the winning design featuring on the front of her card and two runners up on the back. Amanda received hundreds and hundreds of designs from local school children.
The Cannock Chase MP has announced that the overall winner, which was Emelia Brindley-Eden, age 9 of St Luke’s Primary School in Cannock.
Amanda said: "It was very difficult to choose the winner, with hundreds of entries from numerous local schools. I am delighted to announce that Emelia Brindley-Eden, age 9 of St Luke’s Primary School in Cannock, was the winner and the design now features on the front of my Christmas card. Emelia’s design was very striking and looks fantastic on the front of the card.”
The two runners up were Elysia-Mae Peters, age 9 of Five Ways Primary School and Samuel Davies-Ratcliffe, age 5 of Chancel Primary School. This year the Cannock Chase MP will also feature 12 further designs on her Facebook page as part of a 12 Days of Christmas theme.
Amanda added: “I would like to thank the hundreds of local school children who took part in the competition. All the designs were amazing, so much so that I will again be featuring 12 more entries to the competition on my Facebook page as part of a 12 Days of Christmas theme. One design will be posted on each day of the 12 days of Christmas and are perfect examples of Cannock Chase’s Christmas spirit. So schools and parents should check in each day to see if their child’s design is featured.
The Winner and Runner up results are:

Amongst the recipients of the Christmas card will be the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP.
