Amanda Milling, Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase, has welcomed new funding from the Government to improve roads across Cannock Chase.
Staffordshire County Council will be given £1,123,967 to tackle potholes and improve the condition of roads in Cannock Chase. This funding is part of a £6.6 billion programme over the six years until 2021 to improve the state of roads across the country.
The Cannock Chase MP, who has run her own schemes to tackle potholes in Cannock Chase, has welcomed the funding and the extra investment in local roads.
Amanda Milling MP said: “This new funding to tackle potholes and improve the condition of the roads in Cannock Chase is great news. I have long campaigned for extra investment to go into our roads. If you see any potholes, please make sure you report them to Staffordshire County Council to ensure that Cannock Chase gets its fair share of this pothole busting funding.”
