Following the odour issues at Poplars Tip that has plagued nearby residents, the Environment Agency carried out ambient air quality monitoring from 3rd February to the 17th June 2020.
The Environment Agency has now published their main report and summary document resulting from the air quality monitoring that has been undertaken. This report, along with previous updates, can be found on their Poplars Cannock online information page at https://consult.environment-agency.gov.uk/.../poplars...
The full Environment Agency report and summary document will also be made available to Cannock Chase District Council and Public Health England. If you have any questions about these reports or would like either of them in a different format, please email [email protected].
Furthermore, the Environment Agency has stated that the air monitoring unit will remain in place for the foreseeable future to support the investigation into odour reports in the area.
