Amanda Milling, Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase, is urging local jobseekers to attend her Jobs Fair on Friday 20th April.
Exhibitors will include numerous employers recruiting for a wide variety of sectors including public transport, engineering, manufacturing, the armed forces and care provision. There will also be businesses who are seeking to recruit apprentices and organisations offering career advice.
The Jobs Fair will take place at the Rugeley Rose Theatre on Friday 20th April, from 10am until 1pm, and is being held in partnership with Rugeley Town Council and Cannock Wood based company ATP Indistries Group Ltd.
Amanda Milling said: “This really is a must attend event for anyone who is looking for work, a new job or career change. I would urge local jobseekers to make sure they have the Jobs Fair in their diary and they make time to come along. It will be a great opportunity for any jobseekers to explore hundreds of local employment vacancies all in one place. The fair will also have a range of apprenticeship providers and careers advisors present too, so anyone who has left school, or is soon to leave, will also find the event useful for exploring their future career options. So whatever kind of job you are looking for, this is the ideal opportunity for you.”
Exhibitors at the fair include West Midlands Trains, Unitech Industries Group, Custom Care, Allied Healthcare, Ladder for Staffordshire / Performance Through People, The Mercian Regiment, UPS, Willow Senior Care Ltd, Bluebird Care, Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children, Talent Match Staffordshire, Avon, National Express, Royal Engineers, G & T Roofing Ltd, ATP Electronic Developments Ltd, Royal Air Force, National Careers Service / Prospects and JobCentre Plus.
