Amanda Milling, Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase, has announced the winner of her 2016 Christmas Card competition.
Earlier in the year Amanda invited local school children to design the cover of her official 2016 Christmas Card, with the winning design featuring on the front of her card and two runners up on the back. Amanda received hundreds of entries making it very difficult to choose the winner and runners up.
Amanda said: "It was exceptionally difficult to choose the winner, with all the entries being very good. I am delighted to announce that Sienna Brindley-Eden, aged 10 from St Luke's Primary School, was the winner and her design now features on the front of my Christmas card. I thought this picture was striking and encapsulated the magic of Christmas."
The two runners up were Alek Locock, age 8 from West Hill Primary School, and Natasha Williams, age 6 from Moorhill Primary School. The full list of results is:
1st Place – Sienna Brindley-Eden - Age 10 from St Luke's Primary School.
2nd Place – Alek Locock – Age 8 from West Hill Primary School.
3rd Place – Natasha Williams – Age 6 from Moorhill Primary School.
Amanda added: "Both of the runner ups were also fantastic and captured the Christmas spirit. It was just a shame there could be only one winner because so many were worthy of being on the cover of my Christmas card.”
