Amanda Milling, Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase, calls on local businesses and jobseekers to attend Cannock Chase Jobs Fair.
The Cannock Chase MP is holding a Jobs Fair in partnership with Rugeley Town Council and Cannock Wood based company ATP Electronic Developments Ltd.
The Jobs Fair will take place at the Rugeley Rose Theatre in Rugeley on Friday 20th April, from 10am until 1pm. This event will help put hundreds of jobseekers directly in touch with local employers.
The Cannock Chase MP is calling on local employers with vacancies to sign up to exhibit at the Jobs Fair – which is open to businesses from across Cannock Chase, Staffordshire and the wider West Midlands area. The event is free for employers exhibiting as well as for jobseekers attending the event.
Amanda Milling said: “This event will help put hundreds of jobseekers directly in touch with local employers. Both local employers and jobseekers have commented how effective and valuable these events are. The Jobs Fair is a great chance for businesses from across the local area to advertise recruitment opportunities and reach a wide audience for free. Whether a business is engineering, retail, transport or technology; whether it’s a big national employer or a smaller local one, the event will give them the opportunity to reach potential new employees. I would also strongly encourage jobseekers in the area to attend the event so that they can talk to local employers about the opportunities that are available.”
